Choosing Your Sub-Plan
With three levels of cover (also known as Sub-Plans) to choose from and a range of voluntary Medical Excess Options, you have a wide choice of health insurance covers to suit your individual needs and budget.
With any of the three Sub-Plans, at time of application, you have the choice to select one of two levels of cover options:
- A 'Standard' Cover option that offers limited Out-Patient Cover and excludes Prescribed Out-Patient Drugs/Dressings, or
- A 'Premier' Cover option which offers a more comprehensive range of Out-Patient Benefits and significantly higher limits of cover.

| The Core sub-plan is a low cost and very affordable 'entry level' medical insurance. It is designed to provide 'Core' medical insurance coverage for customers on a restricted budget. It offers the same wide breadth of In-Patient coverages as Prime and Prime Plus sub-plans but at lower sums insured. Additional covers include: - Emergency Transportation to and from Hospital
- Private Home Nursing upon referral from a Specialist
- Reconstructive Surgery following Accident
- Hospital Cash Benefit
Plus on the Premier Cover Option - Out-Patient Treatment and Diagnostic surgical procedures are not restricted to just being prior to hospital admission or 90 days maximum after discharge
- Out-Patient Prescribed Drugs and Dressings Cover
- Hospital Emergency Room Accidental Damage to Teeth

| Prime Sub-Plan |
| The Prime sub-plan is an affordable and effective medical insurance that offers a higher annual sum insured backed by comprehensive levels of In-Patient medical cover with significantly higher limits and fewer sub-limits within each section of cover, than the 'Core' sub-plan. It offers a wide breadth of In-Patient coverages and all the additional covers of Core as above, and further cover includes: - No sub-limits for various In-Patient Covers including Medical Practitioner, Diagnostic, Surgeon, Anaesthetist and Theatre Fees
- Parent Accommodation in Hospital (Children under 12 years)
Plus on the Premier Cover Option - No sub-limits for Out-Patient Medical Practitioner, Specialist, Diagnostic and surgical procedures
- Out-Patient Physiotherapy
- Alternative Medicines (Acupuncture, Homeopathy, Chiropractic and Osteopathy)
- Compassionate Home Visit (relative under 75 years)
- Vision Accident Contribution

| Prime Plus Sub-Plan |
| The Prime Plus sub-plan offers our widest range of covers at a significantly higher annual sum insured than both the Prime and Core sub-plans. Plus, it gives you the additional choice and flexibility (at a reduced sum insured) of seeking eligible medical treatment outside your Country of Residence anywhere in Europe, as well as 90 days coverage annually Worldwide (excluding USA / Canada). It also offers comprehensive levels of In-Patient medical cover and all the additional covers of Prime as above, with further cover for Complications of Pregnancy and Childbirth (after 12 months from Date of Entry). Plus on the Premier Cover Option: It offers the extra covers provided under Prime as well as additional cover for: - Routine Pregnancy and Childbirth (after 12 months from Date of Entry).
- Routine Dental Treatment
- Emergency Evacuation
- Transportation of Mortal Remains or local cremation/burial (where death occurs outside Country of Residence)
- Personal Accident and Permanent Total Disablement
